WHAT IS A NATURAL STONE Marble, travertine and limestone are of a natural origin and will have variations in color, shade, texture and veining. Each piece is unique and is never same as another piece exactly. "And that is the beauty of the natural stone." TRAVERTINE: Travertine naturally has holes/porous and considered normal and not defects. These porous actually serves as a benefit in wet areas when used as outdoor pavers. They absorb water, making it non-slip. Great for all outdoor projects. Sometimes porous in the travertine is filled then honed to smooth surface in the factories when it is used as tiles for indoor projects. Whether it is used as pavers for exteriors or used for interiors flooring; travertine will surely give any space that premium feel and look.

SEALING All natural stone products are to be properly sealed. We recommend sealing with an A rated Water-based and Penetrating Stone Sealer. Sealing will protect your stone from stains, mold, moisture, etc. for many years. Sealers that protect the stone for up to 25 years available on the market.

SETTING / INSTALLING Pavers: 1] Can be set over a properly compacted sand-bed. 2] Can be installed over concrete slab just like tiling. 3] Pavers can also be set over sand-bed that is compacted over concrete-slab. In this case the contactor needs to make sure that concrete slab under the sand have proper slope for rain-water drainage. Tiles: We recommend; all light-colored natural stones marble, travertine and limestone tiles to be installed with a white setting / thin-set material.
